The results of matches played last week were not good but the three clubs we visited provided excellent competition alongside good company and all players agreed were worth a second visit. On Tuesday Wishaw GC beat us 5:3, on Wednesday Onnerley GC beat us 7.5 to 0.5 and finally Stafford Castle beat us 4:2 on Thursday.

As the professional golfers found playing three days on the trot, on three different type of grass and three new courses takes a lot of skill and courage. Although our opposition may have been better than we were on the day, we will play and beat them on our course and all senior members are welcome to join the team.

Keep an eye on the notice board in the changing room or contact Brian Preece for future matches, thank you to all that turned out, especially those who played all three days.

Captains Day out at Oxley on the 9th August, entry notice is in the changing room

The Seniors Open is now filling steadily but more entrants from the Chase are required, again entry forms are in the changing room. Please complete and return to B Bateman at the LE registration desk.

The Captains Charity will be a pairs competition and an entry sheet is
in the changing room and is a competition which can be entered by all Chase members Ladies, Juniors and Men.
