Captains Trophy
The last major of the year took place here at The Chase Golf Club on Sunday in what proved to be a great day for Liam Bills. Liam is our lowest handicapped golfer playing off a 1 handicap. He was 3 under gross coming down the 18th hole and was odds on to set a new amateur course record as 2 under was the current record. Unfortunately Liam bogeyed the last hole and only equalled it. Still a great achievement though at such a young age, well done Liam! See below for the results:
1st - Liam Bills (Nett 69) 2nd - Steve Littlewood (Nett 71 CB) 3rd - Matt Tranter (Nett 71 CB) 4th - Steve Earll (Nett 71 CB) 5th - Russ Gough (Nett 73)

19/08/15 LADY CAPTAINS AWAY DAY
Lady Captain Gill Lees arranged a lovely day at Perton Golf Club. The first half of the day had dry and pleasant conditions but it became wetter and wetter thereafter with all the Ladies managing to complete their round before the rain really set in. They enjoyed a delicious meal as a just reward and the secret partner winners were Shirley Rycroft and Sandra Hill. Well done ladies. Thank you Lady Captain Gill for all your organisation.

Seniors Interclub Competition
The seniors played their home fixture against Uttoxeter on Thursday 10th and the result was a comfortable 6 games to 2 victory, despite one of their experienced pairs (no names) suffering a heavy defeat. A good day was had by all.
Leading Edge Competition No 11
This was the penultimate LE match and league leader Mr Keith Bayliss was hoping for another good finish to consolidate his position. This did not happen but all of his nearest rivals had a poor day also so he remains optimistic that the prize is in his hands. Results were:

Div 2 1st Peter Russell 74 2nd David Walley 82 3rd Keith Street 83
