First of all we would like to congratulate Katrina on her recent form. In the last month Katrina came 2nd and then went on to win her first WPGA tour event and is now leading the order of merit. She also qualified for the Ladies PGA Championship which a 3 day competition was held a Burnham & Berrow last week. The conditions were tough but she cruelled up the leader board finishing 5th.
This week Katrina and Matt played in a qualifier for the PGA Fourball Championship, they came in on 3 under par in hard conditions. There were only eight places available from the 40 teams, unfortunately after a nail biting play off between five pairs for just two spaces they didn't make it through.
She is looking to play in some Pro Am's in the next few months if anyone would like to join her in making a team please get in touch with her.
Katrina has a few WPGA Tour events coming up, we wish her all the luck.
The U.S Open draw soon filled up so we have now done another sheet. If you would like to be in with a chance of winning don't forget to enter, £2.00 per go in the starters hut.
There are only a few spaces left on the Simmons trophy, if you would like to play please enter on the sheet which is on the Competitions board. The Simmons Trophy is open to all membership categories with a handicap.
Please note the Performance Centre opening times have now changed again. Apologies for these times changing again but we are trying to find the best combination of opening and closing time for both the Performance centre and Starter Hut.

Our Club Captain this year, Alan Richardson, has two spaces left for the Captains Away Day Trip to Oswestry golf club on Friday 19th June. The Cost is £35 per person which includes 18 holes and pie and chips after. Anyone that is interested please contact the Performance Centre or Alan directly himself.
Interclub Competitions
On Wednesday, 3 June, the team visited Hilltop GC but found it a difficult challenge. The final result was a 3.5 to 1.5 defeat, the only winners being Ken Hunt and Bryan Haynes who reversed their previous pairing result. Perhaps the most surprising result was our banker pair, who shall remain nameless, and having scored a net 78 ran out losers by a 7 and 5 margin.

Get into Golf
Sign up for our Get into Golf course where you will meet new people and learn the basics of the game from a PGA professional. Your coach will take you through a step-by-step guide covering everything from grip, posture, swing and how to use each club. Get into Golf is aimed at golfers new to the game who are looking to get started.
The sessions consist of a four week course taking place on Monday or Wednesday evenings 7-8pm. At only £20pp with all equipment provided if necessary it's never been easier to get into Golf.
