We have now had confirmation from the governing bodies that we can start to have 4 ball tee times from Monday 1st June. The tee sheet is currently booked out as 2 balls for the next 6 days. I am sure you will want us to pair you up with your regular playing partners for Monday to Thursday and of course we will do our best to facilitate this for you. Bookings will remain at 6 days in advance for now, but we will look to extend the booking window over the coming weeks. We will also be keeping 10 min gaps. From today, Saturday 30th May, it would be very helpful if you could call the club to let us know any changes you would like to make to your bookings so we can pair you up accordingly and therefore release tee times for other members to book. The only bookings that will be shown online will be full available tee times and this will be the case for now. We will revert to the old system over time. This means that if you book a tee time no one else can book onto that tee time unless this is done by calling the club. If you have booked a 1, 2 or 3 ball, for now you must call us to let us know who and how many are playing in that tee time. If you only book a two ball and after 24hrs we have not heard from you we will pair tee times and allow others to book on with you. Memberships will now be reactivated form June 1st. Those members who have already informed us that they are shielding will not have their memberships reinstated until July 1st. Until we re open the professional shop you will still need to check in at reception. From Monday one person per tee time should come and register the group. The same system is in place and we ask you not to arrive at the club more then 30 mins before your tee time and leave promptly after finishing your game. Membership has started but you still need to have a booked tee time before arriving at the club. The same rules on buggy use also applies, only one person per buggy unless you are from the same household. This is great news for golf, I am sure that you all cannot wait to have your regular group. I have had so many comments about pace of play in two balls, lets all try to keep the pace of play moving and please remember to allow faster groups to play through when it is safe to do so. Competition golf will be back over the coming weeks and I am sure the committees will be busy working out the best way to get some of the competitions played. I will update you more on this as soon as I have some news. Happy Golfing Matt Southwell General Manager
