Men’s Competition Committee It has been brought to our attention that there is a little bit of uncertainty on a couple of rules, please see below for the correct rule / procedure… - All ropes are classes as moveable obstructions, this means the rope needs to be moved and not the ball. Please see local rule 3. On the reverse of the scorecard - There is NO relief from the areas by the roped areas, you must play the ball as it lies. Relief areas will be marked G.U.R - The temporary greens are to be treated as G.U.R when playing the full course
Supplementary scores - Supplementary scores are eligible when a full course is in play. i.e., full greens with no temporary greens as large holes are in use - The player must sign in with The Professional Shop via the competition book & the scorecard is to be signed by the Professional on duty - RAKE & PLACE is NOT to be used during the round - To be played from the yellow tees - Please return scorecards to the “handicap request box” - A member with a handicap is eligible to mark the card - A maximum of 3 supplementary scores are allowed before a £4.00 admin fee will be charged in line with current competition fees Any further questions please speak to Dan Davis or Michael Whitehouse to clear and queries up.
