Fitting news

Titleist St Ives Fitting Centre Trip…

Are you in the market for new expertly fitted Titleist equipment? If YES this is the trip for you… keep reading.

On Wednesday 30th October 2019 PGA Club Professional Dan Davis will be taking a group to the Titleist National Fitting Centre at St Ives (Cambridge) Golf Club for a day full of all things Titleist.

How the day will run...

In the morning we will arrive, a Titleist Fitting Expert will fit you for your new equipment right through the bag with hundreds of combinations available to pick from. The fitting will be followed by a tour of the Titleist Factory in the afternoon. The cost for the day will be £75, all items purchased will be at the best price available as a thank you for participating in the day.

Senior Autumn Trophy

The rearranged Senior Autumn Trophy took place on 30th September. 45 senior members took part on a sunny start to the day. We managed to miss the heavy rain later in the afternoon to have a close contest.

Leading Edge 10 took place on 23rd September and 51 members took part in a medal competition.

The penultimate Senior match took place at Barlaston GC on 19th September. The good company fine food and good weather went some way to make up for a 4.5 to 2.5 defeat.

Ladies news

Ladies Club Championship

Welcome from the ladies, on September 15th September the rearranged Ladies Club Championship please see the results below…

On the 16th of October, The Chase will be holding a ladies fashion show showcasing all of Sunderland of Scotland 2019/20 clothing line the show will start from 2pm, in the club house.

Along this Olivia will be hosting a Women on PAR golf event, this event is for ladies who are new to golf or even complete beginners. The session will run from 12pm – 2pm, with free coaching tips and fun challenges equipment will be provided if needed and an invite to the fashion show following the session. If any ladies have friends or family interested in getting into golf, please see Olivia or Dan in the Pro shop for more info.

Lady Captains Mixed Away Weekend

Over the weekend of the 22nd & 23rd of September we travelled to Stratford on Avon with 40 members. The weather just about held off for most of us. So all in all we had a very enjoyable time.

On Wednesday 25th September we had our Lady Captain VS Vice Captain. A close match with the spoils going to the Vice Captain’s Team - Well Done!

On the 7th October there will be a Quiz in the Atrium in aid of Blesma, The Captains Charity. It would be great to see you there. Let’s get as many as we can to come along. Teams of up to six people. Prizes & Raffle on the night.
