Great Ball Deal - The Wilson DX2 golf ball this year is out selling all of our other brands by 2 to 1. Of course price may lead you to a ball decision at first but repeat purchases only come from how the ball performs and according to my customers this ball ticks all the boxes.
We have a great multibuy deal on these golf balls for the rest of this month.
That means if you take the top deal you’re getting 38 golf balls for only £1.05p per ball!! A premium performance golf ball that doesn’t break your heart when you fire it into the potato field off the first tee!
Ladies Pink Day
The annual Ladies Pink day was well supported yet again by the Ladies section with everyone getting into the spirit of it, not least Lady Captain and her playing partners Toni-Ann Bywater and Maggie Jarmen pictured here in there sedate outfits for the day. The competition rose over £200 for Breast Cancer Care. Congratulations to all involved.
WC 2nd September
On Monday 8th the Seniors Interclub Team played away at Izaak Walton GC. Once again the Seniors Captain led from the front, this time with a new batman, and despite being 4 holes down at one stage he inspired a tremendous rally allowing him and his partner to record a superb victory. Unfortunately his following troops could not live up to these high standards and struggled at times to find their way around an excellent but difficult course. As the battle weary troops limped in it became obvious that a strong Izaac Walton team had proved too good on the day and thoroughly deserved to finish with a 7 games to 1 victory.
The Senior Captains Away Day is scheduled to take place Thursday 11th away at Swindon GC and the final LE of the season follows on Monday 15th
Tuesday 16th sees the rescheduled Ladies and Seniors Friendship Trophy and this will be followed at 4.00pm with a Seniors Committee meeting

If you're thinking of giving your game a tune up over the winter period then keep an eye out for next week’s newsletter as we will be launching our winter performance programmes next week.
In the mean time if you’re fed up of thinning your pitch shots or maybe always leaving them short then check out this short video which can help you around the greens. Enjoy and if you give it a try please drop me a note to say how you got on.
