As I told you last week I was playing the Brocton Pro Am last Friday. Pleased to say that we came out on top and won the Pro Am with a slightly embarrassing 19 under par. Having said that we only won on a count back from Paul Broadhurst’s team who won The Chase Pro Am a week earlier! Thanks to my team of Bryan Davies, Tony Luo & Phil Musker.
A couple of competitions to bring you up to date with.
Anniversary Pairs 16th August
Some cracking scores in the annual boarded competition, The Anniversary Pairs and yet again another competition decided on card countback. The winning teams were as follows.

Congratulations to the winners, this is the first time Russ has got his name on the boards which has been a monkey on his back for a while. Well done Russ you’re now immortalised in The Chase Golf Clubs history books.
Professionals Prize
Many thanks to everyone who played and supported the Professionals Prize last Sunday. Conditions were great and the course was set up fantastic by Simon and his team which lead to some really good scores with yet another card countback deciding the winner.

Just to finish off the competitions for this week I would like to remind people that after boarded competitions and major’s there is a presentation of prizes. At the very least we expect prize-winners to be present and dressed appropriately but it would be nice to see as many people at the presentations as possible to show your support. Please bear this in mind next time you enter one of these competitions.

We have a number of places available in out Junior Golf Passport classes. Our Junior Golf Passport classes are a great way to introduce your kid's into golf. our classes offer a fun and relaxed learning environment for your children. Get Into Golf
The next start date for the men's Get Into Golf Classes is on Tuesday 16th August 6-7pm. The Get Into Golf Classes consist of a 5 week block of group lessons where you will learn all the basics to get you started in the game. The cost of the course is ONLY £25 for 5 x 1 hour sessions (Only 4 more places left!). Please call Tom in the performance centre for more information.
