So one of the most exciting weeks of the year has arrived with Masters kicking off at the exclusive Augusta National Golf Club. To mark this fantastic week I thought I would share 5 interesting facts about the tournament with you: 

1. About 250,000 people visit the Augusta area each year for the Masters. 

2. All electronics are prohibited on the course. Cameras are allowed only during the practice rounds. 

3. The Average resale price for a ticket to the final round of the 2017 Masters is $1,366 (about £1,088). 

4. The price of a domestic beer at the Masters remains at $4 (about £3.19). The price jumped by $1 (about 80p) in 2015. 

5. Cost of producing each green jacket is $250 (roughly £199).

Staffs PGA Winter Alliances 

The PGA - Winter Pro-Am's offer a chance to play some top local courses in a Pro-Am format with PGA professional Tom Cheetham. The 10 yard challenge is a great way for you to find out how much new technology will improve your game, both DISTANCE & CONCISTANCY! 

Procedure - Dan will ask you to hit 5 shots with your current driver. This will give Dan the target to beat, with the help of the GC2 Launch Monitor the data will be analysed. You will then be given a new driver with a specific specification to suit your swing. You will then hit a further 5 shots to see the benefit of new technology and see how easy it is to gain 10 yards!
