PING Demo Day
We are holding a PING demo day on Monday 3rd October 4pm - 8pm with your chance to try all the latest products. Unfortunately all the appointments are now taken but if you would like to turn up on the day Dan will be around to assist with any clubs you would like to try.
10 Yard Challenge… A great success!
Last week saw 9 golfers take the 10 yard challenge. This took place in the Golf Performance Centre, on the day each golfer hit 5 Drives with their current driver. My task was to beat the distance by 10 yards!
The way I managed to get the massive distance gains you can see in the table below, was to analyse the data that their current driver produced and see how I could alter this to increase the distance. I did this by using the latest equipment custom fit to the individual and a couple of coaching points.
The most distance gained was by Chris Doherty (42 Yards!!). Chris had broken his driver a few weeks ago (not in anger) he brought himself a new driver but didn't get fitted. This illustrates the importance and benefit of custom fitting with the correct guidance.

Night Golf Returns
Have you ever played golf in the dark? Have you ever played golf in a Halloween costume? If your answer is NO then this is the night for you.
It's back with popular demand. Night golf returns with a scare this October with a Halloween themed evening on Friday 21st October 2016.
£15 for members and £20 for non-members. This includes all the glow in the dark equipment for the night and a meal off the specials menu in the bar before play. Shot gun start commencing from 7pm and food from 5pm.

Wednesday 14th September saw the Vet's team with a home match against Whiston Hall GC. The Vet's were in fine form and recorded a 5.5 to 0.5 win.
Thursday 15th September it was the Senior's team in action with a visit to Stone GC. On a fine and warm September day the Senior's won by 6 to 2. With very enjoyable company and the course at Stone in excellent condition it was an excellent match followed by a fine meal. The highlight of the day was the Senior Secretary storming to his first win of the season by 6 to 4.
