Short Game Clinic

The aim of the One Day Short Game School is to help lower your scores by giving you a better understanding of the techniques required for an effective short game. There will be a mixture of tuition and practise on the most important components of the short game. You will leave the school with knowledge of a range of practise drills and exercises to further improve your skills.

A Team

The A team played the first league game of the season on Saturday 23rd April away at Leek Westwood. 

This was always going to be a challenging opening match to the season. The A team won the First Division of the North Staffs Golf League last season promoting them to the Premiere Division. This is a scratch division, the first time The Chase has played in the top flight.

The team turned up on a cold and blustery day to play the Westwood course, which had 'challenging greens' to say the least. The Chase was able to field a strong team with many faces that have helped us gain promotion over the years. The A team eventually ran out 6-4 winners against a strong Westwood side. 

This is a brilliant achievement away from home and pays testament in how hard people have been working in the off season. Brilliant result lads. The next match is on Saturday 30th April away at Astbury.
