The US Masters sweep is up and running with only 3 weeks to go until the tournament. The sweep is £2 per go with all the money paid out in shop vouchers. There are 50 names on the draw in which you pick a number blind out of a hat. After these names have all been picked we will start a fresh sheet so there is plenty of opportunity to have a go.

We have decided to become a Titleist Vokey pro account. This means that we are stocking a wide variety of lofts and finishes in the new SM6 vokey wedge and will also have 24 demo wedges available for you to trial.

We are registered on the Titleist website an account which means we will be doing lots of wedge fittings not just to you but hopefully to visitors from all over the midlands. Next week I will be talking about the benefits of this new fantastic wedge and the differences between its last model the SM5.

Short Game Clinic

The aim of the One Day Short Game School is to help lower your scores by giving you a better understanding of the techniques required for an effective short game. There will be a mixture of tuition and practise on the most important components of the short game. You will leave the school with knowledge of a range of practise drills and exercises to further improve your skills.

The junior session is going from strength to strength with more and more juniors actively playing in junior competitions. This summer 25 of our juniors and juniors who have coaching from Katrina have been asked to be involved in the Staffordshire Junior Pathway Programme where Katrina is one of the coaches. This is where juniors will have coaching from county coaches once per month along with lots of fun and games. We are very proud of the amount of juniors representing our club.
