Club Gapping
Q.1. Do you know exactly how far every club goes in your bag?
It is vital that you know the exact yardage of every club in your bag. If you ask any tour player the same question, they will be able to tell you the exact yardage for each individual club.
Q.2. How many of you have a distance measuring device…?
If you don't know the answer to question 1 then you take away the benefits of having a distance measuring device. The best way to find out the exact distance every club goes in your bag is to book yourself in for a club gapping session, for the rest of March we will be offering this service for just £15.00

Last weekend saw our Captain drive in followed by the well supported Gala Dinner. The Texas Scramble competition saw some great team scores with the team of Ian Schofield, Alan Cooke, Ray Kidner & Paul Thacker shooting a 58.25 nett score

The evening was a huge success also with 118 people attending the Gala Dinner where we were all entertained by a hilarious comedian and disco after.
On the day the Captains raised well over £1000 for their chosen charity for 2016 which is Compton Hospice.
We wish all the Captains for 2016 Lynton Mason (Club Captain) Rachel Bishop (Lady Captain) Michael Whitehouse (Seniors Captain) and Tom Beasley (Junior Captain) all the best for the forthcoming year.

The sheet for the Senior Captains Away Day on the 28th July 2016 is now on the board. Total cost is £36 which is for a bacon roll on arrival and a 2 course meal after the golf. A £10 deposit in an envelope with your name on to be handed to the Leading Edge Desk (not in the Senior Captains box).

Easter Junior Golf Camps
Bookings are still being taken for our Junior Easter Golf Camps which run throughout the Easter school holidays. Our Camps promise to include incredible days of fun, excitement and achievement with prizes to be won. Our popular fun coaching camps are open to boys and girls of all ages and abilities. All equipment will be provided and coaching will be carried out by our PGA Professionals. The days and times are as follows:

Short Game Clinic
The aim of the One Day Short Game School is to help lower your scores by giving you a better understanding of the techniques required for an effective short game. There will be a mixture of tuition and practise on the most important components of the short game. You will leave the school with knowledge of a range of practise drills and exercises to further improve your skills.
