Wilson staff have brought out a new selection of woods and hybrids called the FG Tour F5 range. We have not long had it delivered and it has shown a great response so far with people hitting the demo driver. The driver retails at £279.00 with the matching adjustable fairway wood and hybrid sitting below it at £189.00 and £169.00.
The 460cc driver head is available in 9 and 10.5 degree lofts but features a 6 way adjustable hosel that can be set from 8 degrees to 12.5 degrees in half degree increments. There is a moveable weight at the bottom of the head allowing the player to choose from 3 weight options to fine tune spin rates and launch angle to maximise their total carry distance.
The matching fairway woods are available 13.5 degree, 15 and 17 degree head but also feature the adjustable hosel design The hybrids are available in 17, 20 and 23 degree.

Seniors Winter Competitions
The bandits came out to play on Monday 22nd in a Senior Winter Competition comprising a 3 ball waltz. Results for the 9 hole competition were:
1st D Walley, H Beddows and B Morgan with a score of 51 points
2nd M Whitehouse, W Orwin, T Page with 49 points
3rd D Cartridge, B Haynes, D Smialowski with 47 points
Handicaps have been adjusted and monies placed on their cards.
The winning team perhaps recorded a new record, scoring 12 points between them on the 12th hole, although this was helped by being on winter greens with large cups
The next competition is a 9 hole Texas to be played on the 29th commencing at 8.30 prompt. This will be followed by the Seniors AGM which is scheduled to begin at 11.30am.
